The VA Puget Sound Healthcare System, Seattle WA., intends to solicit a commercial item procurement for Veterans Readjustment Counseling Services for a Base and 4 - one year option periods. The geographical catchment area to be served by the contractor is Kitsap County Washington. Contractors will provide services for eligible beneficiaries of the VA Medical Center in accordance with all existing Federal, State and Local Regulations. This is a proposed contract action for services for which the government intends to solicit set aside small business. The NAICS code is 621330, $6M. The procurement will be conducted utilizing the commercial item procedures of FAR 12 in conjunction with FAR 15. Solicitation documents may be obtained electronically at: http://www.fedbizopps.gov. on or about March 19, 2008. Award will be made to the offeror whose offer conforms to the solicitation will be the best value to the Government, price and other factors considered. The Government intends to evaluate offers and award without discussions. However, the Government reserves the right to conduct discussions later if determined necessary by the Contracting Officer.
