The National Park Service will issue a Prospectus soliciting proposals for a concession contract for the operation of the Ok-A-Beh Marina in the North Unit of Bighorn Canyon National Recreation Area, Montana. The Prospectus explains the business opportunity and the terms and conditions under which the National Park Service will award the concession contract. The Director, pursuant to 36 C.F.R. Part 51, has determined that the existing concessioner is a preferred offeror for the contract. The National Park Service will issue the Prospectus on March 19, 2008, under the terms described in the Prospectus, with proposals due no later than 4:00 p.m. on Friday, June 20, 2008. Any proposal, including that of the existing concessioner, must be received by the Chief of Concessions, Intermountain Region, National Park Service, 12795 West Alameda Parkway, Lakewood, Colorado 80228 by the deadline date in order to be evaluated and considered for award of the concession contract. The Prospectus is available at the National Park Service website at http://www.concessions.nps.gov/Prospectus.cfm. Hard copies are available upon request for a printing cost recovery charge. The fee is $35 per copy to be delivered via Federal Express or $30 per copy if picked up in person. Persons interested in obtaining a Prospectus should mail or bring in person, a check or money order (NO CASH SALES) made payable to the National Park Service. You must include a business address (no post office box) and telephone number to receive a Federal Express package.
