The Department of the Navy, Space and Naval Warfare Systems Center, San Diego intends to issue a solicitation to provide research, development, test and evaluation of emerging navigation technologies, sensors and systems with potential for applicability in the areas of, air, ground, and shipboard (surface, subsurface) Command, Control, Communication, Computers and Intelligence, Surveillance, and Reconnaissance (C4ISR) system technologies and position, navigation, and timing (PNT) systems. The estimated level of effort is 77,664 hours per year. An indefinite delivery, indefinite quantity type contract with a cost-plus-fixed-fee pricing arrangement, a three year base period, two option years and six six-month award terms is anticipated. The Government anticipates a single award contract pursuant to the criteria in the RFP. Additional information will be available on the SPAWAR e-commerce web site under "future opportunities" as it becomes available. NO SOLICITATION EXISTS AT THIS TIME. It is currently anticipated that Solicitation N66001-08-R- 0019 regarding this requirement will be released on or about April 15, 2008. The solicitation and any subsequent amendments resulting from this announcement will be available to interested parties via the SPAWAR E- Commerce Central web site at https://e-commerce.spawar.navy.mil, under "Business Opportunities", "SSC SAN DIEGO", "Open Solicitations." The solicitation will only be available electronically at this web site. Hard copies of the solicitation will not be available. It is the responsibility of interested parties to periodically monitor the SPAWAR E-Commerce page for updates and new listings.
