Description

The DET S&T BAA is part of the Program Executive Office for Simulation, Training, and Instrumentation (PEO STRI) research and development program. At the direction of the Test Resource Management Center (TRMC), Office of the Secretary of Defense (OSD ), PEO STRI has the mission to solicit white papers and proposals under the DET Focus Area of the Test and Evaluation/Science and Technology Program for advanced development of technologies. This BAA is issued to satisfy the TRMC requirement to support Tes t and Evaluation of Directed Energy Weapon Systems spanning the high energy laser (HEL) and high power microwave (HPM) domains. FY09 topic areas for technology development are included on this BAA release. The continued BAA solicitation number issue d as a result of the administrative change stated in Amendment 06 to the original BAA (N61339-05-R-0092) is W900KK-08-R-0012 and will expire on the same date as the original BAA solicitation, 07 September 2010. All documentation, communication, o r reference to the DET S&T BAA shall reflect the continued BAA solicitation number W900KK-08-R-0012.
