Description

NAVAIR Orlando Training Systems Division (TSD) intends to award a sole source contract to Alion Science and Technology, 10 West 35TH Streeet, Chicago, IL 60616-3717, in accordance with FAR 6.302-1, only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements. Alion Science and Technology Corporation is a large business. The government has a requirement for a follow-on requirement for engineering services. The contractor shall provide engineering expertise to the MPT Systems Engineer. The Contractor shall provide engineering expertise to the MPT Systems Engineer to research and evaluate viable technologies and implementation options for the development of EFV training programs, devices and simulations. The tasks to be accomplished include participation of Integrated Product Teams (IPT's) to develop specifications, statements of work and development plans for various training systems under the cognizance of the MPT SE including EFV embedded training. The contractor shall execute the necessary access agreements with various PM AAA contractors to obtain access to proprietary material in performance of this SOW. The contractor shall consider the results of the Front End Analysis process and courseware development process in identifying and investigation training system development approaches. The contractor shall provide program meeting and review support. The research shall be completed and the Technical Report delivered within 180 days after contract award.
