Description

The purpose of this Announcement is to advertise that we intend to add the below NSN onto commercial Contract SPM7L107D7002. This addition is an administrative change due to the fact that the PLS/HETT/HEMTT tire is being given a second NSN because only Michelin NA is approved on the MRAP BAE RG33 vehicle application. On NSN 2610-01-334-2694 Michelin NA and Goodyear are approved to make the tire. On NSN 2610-01-561-7314 Michelin NA is only approved to provide the tire. The scope of this contract is for all Tire NSNs managed by the Defense Logistics Agency (DLA) related to Armor/Tactical Vehicles, vehicles, and equipment end-items application. This NSN follows under that scope. There will be no separate solicitation issued for this action. Specifications, plans, or drawings are available. However, this acquisition is for supplies for which the Government does not possess complete, unrestrictive technical data; therefore, the Government intends to contract with only approved sources under the authority of 10 U.S.C. 2304(c)(1).
