THIS IS ONLY THE ADVANCED NOTICE. THE SOLICITATION INCLUDING ALL EQUIPMENT SPECIFICATIONS WILL BE POSTED AFTER APRIL 7, 2008 FOR THE REQUIRED RENTAL OF THE EQUIPMENT GENERALLY DESCRIBED BELOW. NO RESPONSE IS REQUIRED FOR THIS ANNOUNCEMENT. This will be a full and open solicitation. NAICS Code: 532411 Size Standard: $6.0M Purpose: Denali National Park and Preserve requires the rental of the following construction equipment: 3 each excavators; Caterpillar 315C/315L or Hitachi EX160 or equal, model year 2005 or newer with less than 2000 hours on meter; 2 each 12 yd dump trucks; model year 2007 or newer; 2 each construction water distribution trucks, 3800 gallon capacity, model year 2005 or newer; and 1 each single drum vibratory roller, model year 2003 or newer. The duration of the equipment rental will range from three to five months in duration. The rental duration for each piece of equipment will be delineated in the solicitation. As part of the contract the equipment will be required to be delivered and picked up inside Denali National Park and Preserve. ALL VENDORS WISHING TO BE CONSIDERED FOR THIS SOLICITATION MUST BE REGISTERED IN THE CENTRAL CONTRACTOR REGISTRATION (CCR) DATABASE PRIOR TO AN AWARD BEING MADE.
