The scope of this contract is to provide Aerial Services in support of work for the 2008 High Lakes Stabilization Project. The Contractor shall utilize commercial aircraft, as well as industry standard packaging, loading and unloading practices and techniques, to deliver (fly-in and fly-out) approximately 225,000 lbs of Government Furnished and/or Leased Property (i.e. earth moving equipment, fuel and miscellaneous project equipment and supplies). Depending on load efficiencies the Government has estimated that delivery will require 32 fly-in trips and 29 fly-out trips. Loads will weigh up to 8,000 lbs. Deliveries will be made from a Government designated non-wilderness staging area on a dam at Moon Lake, UT (elevation 8,000 to 9,000-ft) to Government designated landing areas (10,000 to 10,500 feet in elevation) at two mountain lakes in the Brown Duck Basin of the High Uintas Wilderness Area (HUWA).
