This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. Solicitation Number R3-08-18 is issued as a Request for Quotation (RFQ). The solicitation document and incorprated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular FAC 2005-24. The USDA Forest Service, Soutwestern Region, requests quotations on ammunition of the following: CLI-01).40 Caliber, Smith and Wesson, Ranger 180 Grain, Jacketed Hollow-Point, 50,500 rounds, CLI-02).45 Auto, ACP, Ranger, 230 Grain, Jacketed Hollow-Point, 2,500 rounds, CLI-03).223 Remington, Ranger, 64 Grain, Jacketed Hollow-Point, 17,600 rounds, CLI-04) 12 Gauge 00 Buck, Ranger, 9 pellet, 2,500 rounds, CLI-05) 12 Gauge 1 oz. Rifled Slug, 2,500 rounds, CLI-06) 9 MM, Ranger, 124 Grain +P, Jacketed Hollow-Point, 6,500 rounds, CLI-07).38 Caliber, Ranger, 110 Grain +P+, Jacketed Hollow-Point, 500 rounds, CLI-08).380 Caliber, Auto, Ranger, 95 Grain, Jacketed Hollow-Point, 500 rounds.
