Description

The contraacotr shall support changes required for both the 344 Fire Control System (FCS) and Weapon Systems Simulator (WSS) software, and the Eastern Range Test Facility (ERTF) handware to support the D5 Life Extension (LE) Missile modification and test. Negotiations will be conducted with General Dynamics Advanced Information Systems (GDAIS), Pittsfield, MA. GDAIS is the sole manufacturer of the TRIDENT (II) D5 Strategic Weapon System (SWS) Fire Control System and Attack Weapons Control System and the only source with the in-depth knowledge, expertise, and in-place capability to perform the required effort.
