Description

Battelle Energy Alliance, LLC (BEA), a management and operating contractor for the United States Department of Energy at the Idaho National Laboratory (INL) located in Idaho Falls, Idaho, is seeking interested parties capable of providing an approximately 130,000 -140,000 sq. ft. combination new laboratory and office building under a design/build lease arrangement. Term of lease shall be 10 years with a one year cancellation provision. No payments will be made until occupancy. The location for this facility shall be within the existing INL Research and Education Campus (REC), see attached map. Desired occupancy is December 2010. The facility shall conform to City of Idaho Falls specifications and codes, to include a mixture of laboratory space, offices, auditorium, conference rooms and other building support areas sized for approximately 150 occupants. The facility shall be capable of connecting to existing INL telecommunications services, and include INL Bus System access to main streets or highways. In order to be considered qualified to receive the solicitation, interested parties must submit an expression-of-interest response demonstrating experience with similar type projects and proof of land availability within INL campus boundaries, no later than April 25, 2008.
