FCA HVAC UPGRADES UNITS 20 & 24PROJECT DESCRIPTION : The H.H. McGuire VAMC in Richmond, VA is seeking the services of a qualified Service Disabled Veteran Owned Small Business to provide all labor, materials, transportation, equipment and supervision required to replace existing air handling units #20 & #24 and associated VAV boxes. Work to include all associated mechanical and electrical systems. Contractor shall perform construction services as defined by the solicitation. All work shall be completed within 180 calendar days after date of receipt of notice to proceed. This includes final inspection and cleanup. The NAICS code for this procurement is 238220 with a small business size standard of $13,000,000. The estimated dollar amount is between is between $500,000 and $1,000,000. The specifications will be uploaded as part of the solicitation on/about April 28, 2008. A date and time for a pre-bid/walkthrough will be stated in the solicitation. The bid opening will be on/about May 28, 2008. The deadline for receipt of questions is one week prior to the bid opening. To be qualified to bid on this project, firms must be registered at central contractor Registry and Vet Biz, prior to award.
