DLA Aviation Richmond intends to award a sole source contract for a quantity of 2 Computer Numerically Controlled (CNC) Propulsion Shaft Lathes, with 2 options. The Shaft Lathes are manufactured by Machine Tool Research, Inc.� CAGE 1JV12, and the solicitation is intended to result in a Firm, Fixed Price Contract with completion requested in 730 days ARO.� Alternate offers will not be accepted.� Request for Proposal SPE4A8-21-R-0001 (previously SPE4A8-20-R-0002) is sole source for Two (2) CNC Propulsion Shaft Lathes and Two (2) Options, FSC 3408, Other Than Full and Open Competition. FOB will be at Destination with preliminary inspection at Origin and final inspection and acceptance at Destination
