Performance Work Statement (draft) This is a sources sought synopsis in support of a market survey being conducted by the 11th Contracting Squadron, Joint Base Andrews, MD 20762 in accordance with Federal Acquisition Regulation Part 10, Market Research, to determine interest and capabilities of potential sources to provide Firefighter Equipment Maintenance. The services include but are not limited to the following: The contractor shall provide all personnel, equipment, tools, materials, supervision, transportation and other items or services necessary to perform all operations associated in performing for scheduled and emergency repair maintenance to include replacing dilapidated or out-of-service parts on various types of emergency response equipment used by Joint Base Andrews, Fire Emergency Services Flight. This synopsis is for informational and planning purposes only and does not constitute a solicitation, a synopsis of a solicitation, a commitment on the part of the Government to later publish a solicitation, or ultimately award a contract. The Government will not reimburse the costs of preparing or submitting a response to this synopsis. The intent of this notice is to identify potential offerors. Interested offerors capable of providing this requirement must respond by e-mail to timothy.j.cobb21.mil@mail.mil, referencing Firefighter Equipment Maintenance no later than 14 September 2018 at 12:00PM EST. Interested sources shall indicate whether they are capable of providing the subject requirement, how long after issuance of a contract would it take to complete the requirement, and furthermore indicate their size and status (i.e., small business, 8(a), HUBZone, WOSB, SDVOSB, etc.). No other information is required at this time. Based upon the responses received, the Government will determine the set-aside method for the procurement. An award will not be made on offers received in response to this notice. This source sought synopsis is not a Request for Quote (RFQ); it is a market research tool being utilized to determine the availability of sources.
