Description: THIS IS A PRE-SOLICITATION NOTICE FOR AN INVITATION FOR BID (IFB). Bids shall only be requested and accepted from contractors who are a Service Disabled Veteran Owned Small Business IAW Public Law 109-461, certified in System for Award Management (SAM, https://www.sam.gov/portal/SAM/%20-%201#1) and Department of Veterans Affairs Vendor Information Pages (VIP, https://www.vip.vetbiz.gov/) The Department of Veterans Affairs, Mather VA Medical Campus has a requirement for but not limited to the following; repair and add to existing asphalt pavement parking area including laying asphalt, slurry sealing, asphalt cutting, curbing, powered lighting, powered cameras, and fencing for a complete and usable parking lot as required by the statement of work, technical specifications, and drawings. Solicitation Number 36C26118B0562 for this effort will be posted to FedBizOpps (www.fedbizopps.gov) on or about May 30th, 2018. This solicitation will contain all necessary specifications, drawings and other information necessary to bid the project. A pre-proposal conference and site visit is tentatively scheduled to be held at the Mather VA Medical Center in Mather, CA located at 10535 Hospital Way, Mather, CA 95655 (See solicitation when available for specific time/date). The purpose of the event is to provide industry with information on an opportunity to visit the site of the projects for which proposals shall be solicited. Additionally, these events serve to encourage industry participation and afford potential offerors additional information through a question and answer session prior to proposal submission. Bids opening will be held at NCO 21 administrative office located at 3230 Peacekeeper Way, Bldg. 209, McClellan, CA 95652. (See solicitation when available for specific time/date).
