The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) / National Institute Occupational Safety and Health (NIOSH) / Pittsburgh Mining Research Division (PMRD) / Virtual Reality research and simulation laboratory (VISLab) has a requirement for a simpler, low-maintenance display system. The new display will consist of a single 4K resolution projector with a flat screen. The simplicity of the new system means lower long-term maintenance costs, less work by VISLab staff keeping the system calibrated, and greater accessibility. This solicitation is only for purchase of the components necessary to make this upgrade. PMRD VISLab program has a requirement for a quantity of one (1) each Digital Projection, Inc.: Projector - Insight Dual Laser 4K 3-Chip DLP Projector model # 118-529, Lens - 1.13 - 1.72:1 model # 115-627, Ceiling Mount Projector Plate - for Insight 4K Laser model # 116-065 and Screen - 118 inches by 224 inches, Gain 1.1. New Equipment ONLY, NO remanufactured or "gray market" items. All items must be in shipped OEM factory sealed boxes and covered by manufacturers warranty... This is a Brand Name or Equal requirement. Vendors that wish to propose a different make or model must provide detailed specifications with their proposal to be considered. All proposals must meet or exceed the attached Minimum Specification. This award will be made to the offer that is the Lowest Price Technically Acceptable (LPTA). This solicitation is being issued as a Combined Synopsis/ Solicitation number 2018-Q-68112 using FAR Subpart 13, Simplified Acquisition Procedures. Any incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2005-97, effective January 24, 2018. Please refer to attached document for clauses and provisions applicable to this acquisition. It is the offerors responsibility to be familiar with the applicable clauses and provisions. Clauses and provisions may be accessed via the Internet at website http://farsite.hill.af.mil. This requirement is solicited as a small business set aside under NAICS code 334310 Audio and Video Equipment Manufacturing with a small business size standard of 750 employees. To be eligible to receive an award resulting from this solicitation, the contractor must be registered in the System for Award Management (SAM).
