R2 Reforestation IDIQ 00 SF1449 1282X918R0001 Region 2 Reforestation IDIQ This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through the Federal Acquisition Circular (FAC) 2005-89. See attached solicitation and attachments. DESCRIPTION OF WORK - The US Forest Service has requirements for Reforestation IDIQ contracts within Region 2. Requirements include the planting of Government-furnished tree seedlings and related work to planting. The contract includes tree handling, planting, and micrositing. There is a repetitive need for reforestation requirements in all of Region 2 forests. This includes furnishing labor, equipment, supervision, transportation, operating supplies, and incidentals. START DATE: Desired award date is 06 April 2018. LOCATION: USDA Forest Service Region 2, Col Colorado, Nebraska, South Dakota, and Wyoming PRE-PROPOSAL CONFERENCE IS SCHEDULED FOR DETAILS SEE FAR CLAUSE 452.237-71 Pre-Bid/Pre-Proposal Conference Only Email submissions of proposals will be accepted. See Solicitation Section "INSTRUCTIONS, CONDITIONS, AND NOTICES TO OFFERORS OR RESPONDENTS" Offerors must be registered in System for Award Management (SAM) IAW FAR 52.204-7 and 52.212-1(k). For those who fail to meet these requirements will not be considered for award. Interested offerors are responsible for monitoring www.fbo.gov and any other pertinent information and for downloading their own copy of the solicitation package and any amendments.
