Page 2 of 2 Page 2 of 2 THIS IS A REQUEST FOR INFORMATION NOTICE ONLY The main purpose of the Request for Information is to test the market for capable interested vendors and to determine a business size for a set aside determination. The Veterans Benefits Administration, Portland Regional Benefit Office, 100 SW Main Street, Portland, Oregon 97204 has a requirement for the Disassembly Removal and Disposal of its High Density Mobile Files System and all other components associated with the system. The contractor shall dismantle and remove approximately 60 double sided carriages of an existing Space Saver Mobile Files System and all components associated with the system. The removal shall include, but is not limited to all electrical connections, file shelves, carpet tiles and adhesive, plywood sub-flooring, and rails. The third floor of 100 SW Main St is approximately 32,945 sq. ft. The file system makes up approximately 5,101 sq. ft. of floor space. Upon completion of the removal of the File System rails (rails are anchored with tapcon) the Contractor shall restore the concrete floor to the original smooth level surface and sweep and mop the finished surface and put back in place the carpet tiles. The contractor shall remove all materials to include file system from the property. The applicable NAICS code is 562920. Please submit a capabilities statement or narrative describing how your company has the ability to bid on this project. Please also certify what size business you are. Your company must be an active registrant with valid registrations at the VA s Vendor Information Pages (VIP) website (http://www.vip.vetbiz.gov) if a SDVOSB/VOSB as well as valid registration at the System for Award Management, website (http://sam.gov/) under the applicable NAICS code of 562920. It is anticipated a solicitation will be posted at www.FBO.gov within the next fourteen (14) days.
