AMENDMENT 000001 AMENDMENT 000001 - ANSWER QUESTIONS AND EXTEND QUOTE DUE DATE. SEE ATTACHED. ********************************************************************** PLEASE SEE ATTACHED SOLICITATION. ********************************************************************** The USDA Forest Service Incident Support Branch, Acquisition Management, has a requirement for Food Services to be furnished at the Wildland Fire and Training Conference Center (WFTC), located at 3237 Peacekeeper Way, McClellan, CA. Meals shall be prepared off-site and served cafeteria style in the Government provided facility. The contractor shall provide all equipment, labor, supervision, materials, and other incidentals to supply food and perform catering services at the WFTC. Services will be provided based on the schedule for the academy sessions where services shall be provided for up to 30-consecutive days (Monday - Friday, exclusive of weekends). Academy sessions typically run from approximately Mid October, through Mid-December, and Mid-January, through Mid-April, of each contract period. Additionally, there may be other types of training sessions and meetings at this facility outside of the scheduled apprenticeship academies that may desire meal service. The Contractor may be asked to provide meal service during the other sessions and meetings. The basic contract period of performance shall be one year from the date of award plus 4 one year option periods, if exercised. A non-mandatory site visit has been tentatively scheduled for December 12, 2017 at 1:00 pm Pacific time. Details will be provided in the solicitation. A solicitation and related documents will be available for download at http://fbo.gov/ on or about December 4, 2017. No hard copies of the solicitation will be mailed out. Interested vendors should register to receive notifications through this site. The NAICS Code applicable to this Synopsis is 722310. The small business size is $38.5 million.
