SYNOPSIS: W911KF-18-Q-0009 Lock Out/Tag Out (LOCO) 04 December 2017 Anniston Army Depot (ANAD) requires Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) compliant Lock Out/Tag Out (LOTO) annual audits for 5,500 pieces of equipment and machinery. Audits are required on an estimated 5,000 pieces of Type I equipment (1-4 energy sources) and 500 pieces of Type II equipment (5 or more energy sources). ANAD has equipment with energy sources that range from electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, chemical, gas, or thermal. Additionally, ANAD requires LOTO energy control procedures be required for equipment that is new, relocated and lacking procedures, or equipment that requires updated or revised procedures which will include up to 400 pieces of equipment/machinery. Each piece of equipment requires machine-specific graphical "LOTO Procedures" (hereafter Procedure(s)) and an Equipment Hazardous Energy Survey. North American Industry Classification System Code is 541330; size standard is H935 employees. This solicitation will be issued electronically in accordance with FAR 4.502, and 5.102(a); therefore hardcopies will not be provided. Proposals submitted must be in electronic format as stated in the solicitation. CAUTION: This solicitation will be issued electronically as will any amendments thereto. Because of this, the Government is under no obligation and is, in fact, unable to maintain a bidders mailing list. It is therefore incumbent upon any interested parties to periodically access the above Internet address in order to obtain any amendments which may be issued. Failure to obtain any said amendments and to respond to them prior to the date and time set for receipt of proposals may render your proposal non-responsive and result in the rejection of your proposal.
