************UPDATE*********** The purpose of this modification to the FBO Sources Sought Notification is to provide detailed information about Industry Day: The Industry Day will begin with a discussion and overview of the contemplated requirement and planned contract strategy, followed by one-on-one sessions. RSVP : NAVSEA requests that firms interested in attending the Industry Day submit company names and attendee lists no later than 1400 Eastern Time, 05 December 2017 via e-mail to Ms. Abbey Scholl, SEA 024, Contract Specialist, abbey.scholl@navy.mil. The subject line of the RSVP email shall be limited to: Industry Day RSVP from (Company Name). The body of the email shall include each attendees name, Position/Title, email address, and phone number. Companies are asked to send no more than four (4) representatives as seating is limited. One-on-One Sessions: These sessions will only be held in person from 1030 to 1430. The intent of these One-on-One sessions is to provide Industry a private, non-public forum to present the Government with comments, concerns and recommendations. Thus, the One-on-One sessions are designed to consist of mostly one-way communication (from the firm to the Government) as the Government does not intend to share contract strategy information outside of the larger and/or public forum. Companies requesting a One-on-One session must indicate such in their RSVP email. These sessions will be no longer than 20 minutes in length, may be attended by no more than 4 people per company, and will be scheduled on a first come first serve basis. The Government will inform attendees of their scheduled session time no later than 06 December 2017. General Stipulations and Disclaimers: Recording of the event is not permitted. Other than the planned briefing materials referenced above, the Government does not plan to provide additional information for review and comment prior to the Industry Day. This announcement is not a contract, request for proposal, a promise to contract, or a commitment of any kind on the part of the Government. NAVSEA does not assume liability for costs incurred by an attendee or for travel expenses or marketing efforts; therefore, attendee costs in response to this notice are not considered an allowable direct charge to the Government.
