Description

SOW The United States Department of Agriculture (USDA), Agricultural Research Service (ARS) intends to negotiate solely with Computer Packages, Inc. (CPI) located at 414 Hungerford Drive, Rockville, Maryland 20850 for a twelve (12) month contract to continue docketing, monitoring, tracking and payment of annuities. Computer Packages, Inc. is the only source which can provide the required service in accordance with our requirements. This procurement will be conducted under the authority of FAR 6.302-1(a) and that only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements. Authority 41 U.S.C. 253(c)(1). It is anticipated that this contract will be for the period of January 2018 - December 2018. This is not a request for quotations or an announcement of a forthcoming solicitation. Request for copies of this solicitation will not be honored or acknowledged. The Government does not intend to pay for information received. All interested parties must respond within ten (10) calendar days from the date of this notice. Written responses must provide clear and concise documentation indicating your firms capability to provide the services described above. Verbal responses are not acceptable and will not be considered. When responding to this announcement, respondents should refer to Announcement 1232SB18Q0008. If after December 1, 2017, no viable responses have been received in response to this announcement, USDA/ARS shall negotiate solely with Computer Packages, Inc. The Government anticipates award by December 23, 2017.
