The Naval Air Warfare Center Aircraft Division Lakehurst, NJ intends to enter into sole source negotiations with Calzoni SRL, Bologna, Italy (Cage: A0461) for the procurement of Advanced Flight Deck Lighting (AFDL) Fixtures (P/N 3975AS6810-1 (9 each), 3975AS6810-2 (6 each), 3975AS6850-1 (8 each), and 3975AS7005-1 (2 each) to support Test Readiness Review (TRR) in April 2018. The TRR is a required Systems Engineering Technical Review Event allowing the program to advance in the testing phase. This procurement is not a small business set-aside. The NAVAIR Office of Small Business Programs concurs. The NAICS code is 333314. The Government intends to award a Firm Fixed Price contract for this requirement under the authority of 10 USC 2304 (c) (1), as implemented by FAR 6.302-1. The Government does not possess rights to the data to permit full and open competition. All responsible sources are encouraged to submit a proposal in writing that may be used by the Government in determining whether or not to conduct a competitive procurement. A determination by the Government not to open the requirement to competition based upon the response to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government.
