This is a sole-source acquisition. Market research was conducted at the International Council of Air Shows (ICAS) in December 2007. Dragon Aviation?s BAC-167 Strikemaster aircraft and L-29 Delfin aircraft will provide acrobatic performance as well as static display for Altus AFB?s 2008 Open House Airshow. Dragon Aviation provides unique performances and they are the only entity to regularly provide aerial demonstrations of this type with Korean War era aircraft in a simulated dogfight and they can meet our performance period and fit into the warbird show theme.
