Description

Flathead National Forest, Weed Control. This contract will be for weed control services on the Flathead National Forest. Estimated Quantity is approximately 621 acres along roads and powerline corridors. Target weed species include, but are not limited to spotted knapweed, oxeye daisy, orange and/or yellow hawkweed, St.Johnswort, Canada thistle, yellow toadflax, sulfur cinquefoil, common tansy, houndstongue, bull thistle. Herbicide application requirements will be described in the solicitation. The solicitation will be posted on this website on approximately April 15, 2008. Estimated start work date for project is June 1, 2008. NOTE: THIS NOTICE WAS NOT POSTED TO FEDBIZOPPS ON THE DATE INDICATED IN THE NOTICE ITSELF (31-MAR-2008); HOWEVER, IT DID APPEAR IN THE FEDBIZOPPS FTP FEED ON THIS DATE.
