The RFP should be uploaded by the end of November. Wickiup Reservoir Boat Launches and Parking Area Construction The Deschutes National Forest anticipates advertising for the construction of boat launches and parking areas at Wickiup Reservoir. Existing facilities are not adequate to handle the present level of usage. Removal of current boat launches will be necessary. Gull Point Boat Launch will consist of construction of a jetty and a boat launch with improvement of existing parking area. North Wickiup Boat Launch will consist of construction of a new parking area and improvement of existing parking area, along with construction of a boat launch. A RFP will be posted on or around October 5, 2007 with offers due 30 days later. Work is expected to commence spring of 2008. This project will be competed full & open under the Small Business Competitiveness Demonstration Program (FAR 19.10).
