Description

Invitation for bid on work to rehabilitate a wastewater treatment settling pond to include: remove and dispose of approximately 840 cubic yards of sludge from settling ponds; remove, wash, reuse approximately 3,000 CY of existing 6-inch crushed rock filter; replace (11) 6-inch gate valves on sewer main; install (4) concrete slabs around the inlet/transfer pipes; install 60 mil HDPE liner on surface of settling ponds with a 17 oz/yd2 geotextile fabric underlayer and rebuild floors and dikes of settling ponds; install 428 LF of new 6-inch HDPE corrugated dual wall perforated pipe under drains; install 12 oz/yd2 geotextile fabric overlayer; and Options(2)- to remove existing fence and install 4,600 LF of six foot high chain link security fence with gate. The Buy American Act applies. The anticipated contract will be a firm-fixed price contract. The period of performance is approximately 130 days. The project magnitude is $100,000 - $500,000. Performance and payment bonds are required. Contractor will be required to meet local tribal government requirements including Colville Tribal Employment Rights Ordinances (TERO). Solicitation documents will be available approximately APRIL 7, 2008 and only in paper format. There is no charge for the solicitation documents.
