This is a Sources Sought Notice for Charter Bus Service to determine if there are adequate Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Business (SDVOSB) contractors to set this project aside. This is not a solicitation for proposals and no contract will be awarded from this announcement. The US Military Academy, West Point, NY has a requirement to provide charter bus transportation from Camp Buckner, West Point, NY to Fort Knox, KY and return trips. Each trip is to transport approximately 380 individuals which would require seven (7) buses plus one 1) empty to trail each convoy. There are four (4) trips from West Point, NY to Ft. Knox, KY (7 July; 11 July; 15 July; and 19 July 2008) and four (4) trips from Ft. Knox, KY to West Point, NY (10 July; 14 July; 18 July; and 22 July 2008). The actual bus company utilized must be an approved carrier by the Defense Travel Management Office (DTMO). The actual contractor submitting an offer must be registered in the Central Contractor Registry (CCR) and be register ed at the ORCA (Online Representations & Certifications Application) web site. Buses used must have a minimum capacity of 55 seats which would ensure 35% increased baggage capacity. Buses musts also be equipped with A/C, Restroom, and TV/VCR. Complete s pecifications would be provided in any resultant solicitation issued. The NAICS code applicable to this procurement is 485510 with a size standard of $6.5 million. All interested Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Business firms should notify this offi ce of their interest by 13 March 2008. Your response should include information regarding previous charter bus services you have provided which were similiar to those being requested herein and references for same.
