Description

The purpose of the Request for Quote (RFQ) is to obtain refrigerated trailer units for Local, Regional, and Nationwide fire suppression and all-risk incidents. The solicitation will be available for Type 1 Refrigerated Trailer Unit (43+ overall length), Type 2 Refrigerated Trailer Unit (28 to 29 feet overall length), and Type 3 Refrigerated Trailer Unit (24 to 28 feet overall length). Resources furnished under this agreement may be operated and subjected to extreme environmental and/or strenuous operating conditions which would include, but is not limited to, unimproved roads, steep, rocky, hilly terrain, dust, heat, and smoky conditions. The solicitation will be available electronically and will be posted in Federal Business Opportunities on approximately March 20, 2008.
