All work shall be in accordance with all Contract Documents. Work includes, but is not limited to, (a) Removal, salvage and reinstallation of sound and relatively undamaged slate roofing shingles, and supply and installation of new slate shingles, as indicated or required;(b) Inspection of existing copper apron and flashing and lead-coated copper (LCC) counterflashing at existing west-facing roof slope; (c) Supply and installation of self-adhering ice and water barrier as underlayment beneath reinstalled slate, configured to lap upper edge of existing copper apron; (d) Patch-type repair or replacement of severely worn or damaged section of copper apron and LCC counterflashing, as required; (e) Removal, documentation and replacement in kind of torn or otherwise-damaged LCC counterflashing at southeast chimney; (f) Removal of rust stains at exterior masonry wall surfaces, as indicated or required, using an appropriate chemical cleaner; (g) Supply of new brick, in sizes and a range of shades intended to match existing historic masonry; (h) Supply and installation of custom mortar mix for repair and repointing, intended to match existing historic masonry; (i) Repair and repointing of brick masonry building walls and chimneys, including removal of spalled and severely damaged bricks and installation of new brick infill, as required; and (j) Final cleaning and cleanup as needed for a proper and workmanlike masonry repair project.|**|TO KRONENBERGER & SONS RESTORATION, INC.<br />175 INDUSTRIAL PARK RD<br />MIDDLETOWN<br />CT<br />06457-3840<br />USIGF::OT::IGF X:NOGRN Repair Custom House Chimneys and Selective Repointing of Brick Exterior Walls at Salem Maritime National Historic Site, 160 Derby Street, Salem, Massachusetts.
