Description

The USDA Forest Service is soliciting prospective contractors for an IDIQ Performance Based Contract for vegetative management services for the Ozark/St. Francis National Forests for the districts of St. Francis (Marion, AR), Sylamore (Mt View, AR), and the Bayou Ranger (Hector, AR). Project work consists of: wildlife opening construction, brush hogging, plant openings and warm-season grass planting. The contract issued as a result of this solicitation will be a firm-fixed Indefinite Quantity, Indefinite Delivery (IDIQ), performance based service contract. The period for issuance of task orders for the base year will be on or before March 1, 2008 through Sept 30, 2008 with two one-year option periods not to exceed Sept 30, 2011. The NAICS code for this procurement is 115310, with a Small Business Size Standard of $6.5 million. The solicitation will be issued as a 100% set-aside for small business concerns. The estimated issue date for the solicitation is January 16, 2007. Contracts will be awarded to the offeror presenting the best value to the Forest Services based upon experience, past performance and price. Experience and past performance when combined will be approximately equal to price. The solicitation, and any amendments, will be made available ONLY at this internet site. Solicitations will not be mailed. All responsible sources may submit an offer, which will be considered by the Forest Service. You must be registered in the Contractor Central Registration (CCR) database in order to be eligible to submit a proposal.
