The National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA) intends to negotiate a contract on a sole source basis with the Tiller Research Inc. to provide a database. The purpose of the database is to provide a sharing of Tribal traffic safety initiatives and best practices as a means of exchange of information between agencies and Tribes about noteworthy programs and ongoing projects. The purpose of this contract is to improve the completeness and accuracy of the data in the database This notice of intent is not a request for proposals nor will a solicitation document be available. The anticipated award date is on or about April 30, 2008. The NAICS code is 541720. Any responses to this synopsis must be received by the listed procuring office within 15 calendar days from the date of publication of this notice. A determination not to continue with this acquisition based upon response to this notice is solely within the discretion of the government. In the absence of responses from interested firms demonstrating their capability, NHTSA intends to award a firm fixed price contract to Tiller Research Inc on a non-competitive basis.
