Description

THIS PROJECT WILL BE AVAILABLE FOR VIEWING AND PRINTING IN APPROXIMTATELY 15 DAYS. The project consists of furnishing crushed aggregate to the ten culvert sites on the north end of the project between Mile Post 19.8 and Mile Post 29.26. These culverts were replaced in the fall of 2007 and no aggregate was placed on the road surface at these ten culverts. The work includes removing and disposing of the top12-1/2 inch layer of backfill material that was placed over the culverts and placing and compacting a 10-inch layer of crushed aggregate. The remaining 134 culverts on the south end of the project have do not need aggregate base under this contract because the aggregate base for those culverts were placed when the pipes were installed in the summer of 2007. Project sites are located along the South Fork Salmon River Road. NAICS code: 237310. Size Standard: $31.0 Million. Estimated price range is between $100,000 and $250,000. Estimated start date is 5/15/08 with 48 calendar days for completion of the work. This procurement will be a Hub Zone Set Aside. This project is under the Small Business Competitiveness Demonstration Program, which is not a small business set aside.
