COMBINED SYNOPSIS/SOLICITATION BLEEDING CONTROL SYSTEM SYRACUSE VA MEDICAL CENTER This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for a commercial item prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6 and 13.106, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotes are being requested and a Separate written solicitation will not be issued. (iii) This solicitation is issued as a request for quote (RFQ). Request for Quote will be submitted through fedbizopps.gov on RFQ reference number VA242-17-Q-1157. (iv) This solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2005-76. (v) This procurement is being issued as an unrestricted requirement. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code is 339113, Surgical Appliance and Supplies Manufacturing, with a small business size standard of 750 employees. This solicitation is 100% set-aside for SBs. (vi) The Contractor shall provide all parts and labor necessary to deliver the below specify supplies. (vii) Description of requirement: The contractor shall provide a quantity of: Public Access Bleeding Control Station 6.00 Quick Clot Bleeding Control Bag 2.00 Public Access Bleeding Control Pack 8.00 Combat Application Tourniquet 12.00 Only offers meeting the above specifications shall be considered. (viii) Awardee shall coordinate with the Official Mail Center (OMC) prior to performance. Meeting or exceeding the technical standards will be weighted equal to price. Quotes must meet the technical standards set forth in the solicitation in order to be considered responsive. The Government reserves the right to make award without discussions.
