Description

The Naval Air Systems Command intends to negotiate and award a Firm-Fixed-Price (FFP) Delivery Order (DO) under Basic Ordering Agreement N00019-17-G-0004 for the procurement of Engineering, Technical support services, and Test Equipment to conduct the USAFs FMU-139D/B Performance and Characterization Sled Test program as well as the procurement of Time Critical Parts in support of USAF fielding of the FMU-139D/B. The Period of Performance for this effort shall commence from the effective date of DO and be completed no later than 24 months after award. This acquisition is being pursued on a sole source basis under the statutory authority of 10 U.S.C. 2304(c)(1), as implemented by Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) 6.302-1, only responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements. NAVAIR intends to award this effort to Orbital Alliant Techsystems Operations, LLC (OATK). OATK is the sole designer, developer and manufacturer of the FMU-139D/B Fuze and the only company that possesses the data, technical skills and requisite knowledge to fulfill the requirements specified herein. For subcontracting opportunities please contact OATK directly. There is no commitment by the Government to issue a solicitation, make an award or awards, or be responsible for any money expended by interested parties before award of a contract for the effort described above.
