Description

Sole Source Intent. The Mission and Installation Contracting Command (MICC) - Yuma Proving Ground (USAYPG), Arizona, intends to negotiate a firm-fixed price contract on a sole source basis with Varex Imaging Corporation (formally Varian Medical Systems, Inc.) 6883 Spencer St STE LV1Las Vegas, NV, 89119-4601. This requirement must be compatible in form, fit, and function to existing software and hardware. Varex Imaging Corporation is the sole proprietor and original equipment manufacturer of the Linatron X-ray system. Varex Imaging Corporation is the only authorized dealer that can provide system maintenance and emergency repairs. The period of performance reads as follows: Base Year 01 October 2017 through 30 September 2018 Option Year I 01 October 2018 through 30 September 2019 Option Year II 01 October 2019 through 30 September 2020 The North American Classification System (NAICS) code is 811219 - Other Electronic and Precision Equipment Repair and Maintenance with a standard size of $20.5M dollars. This contract will consist of Contract Line Item Number (CLIN) 0001, Quantity: 1, Unit of Issue: Job, Description: Premium Maintenance & Repair Services, CLIN 0002, Quantity: 1, Unit of Job: Each, Description: Contract Manpower Reporting; CLIN 1001, Quantity: 1, Unit of Issue: Job, Description: Premium Maintenance & Repair Services; CLIN 1002, Quantity: 1, Unit of Issue: Job, Description: Contract Manpower Reporting; CLIN 2001, Quantity: 1, Unit of Issue: Job, Description: Premium Maintenance & Repair Services and CLIN 2002, Quantity: 1, Unit of Issue: Job, Description: Contract Manpower Reporting. Award for this requirement will be in accordance with Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Part 13.
