Revised Questions and Answers COMBINED SYNOPSIS/SOLICITATION Amendment 1: 5 Sept 17 - Questions and Answers added. Amendment 2: 5 Sept 17 - Questions and Answers updated. This is a combined synopsis/solicitation ("synopsitation" hereafter), which is expected to result in award of a Firm Fixed Price (FFP) contract for a commercial item, i.e. provide an Audio Visual system in building B4026 at Wright-Patterson AFB, OH, as described under the attachment titled "Minimum Requirements". The synopsitation is prepared in accordance with the format in the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. An award, if any, will be made to the responsible offeror who submits a proposal that (1) conforms to the requirements; (2) that receives a rating of "Acceptable" on the Technical Capability evaluation factor; and (3) that submits the proposal with the lowest total evaluated price (TEP), provided that the TEP is not unbalanced and is determined to be fair and reasonable. The Government reserves the right to award without discussions or make no award at all depending upon (1) the quality of proposals received and (2) whether proposed prices are determined to be fair and reasonable. An organized Site Visit is scheduled for 30 Aug 2017 at 10:30 a.m. Eastern time. Government personnel will meet all interested vendors in the parking lot of the Hope Hotel & Richard C. Holbrooke Conference Center, Building #823, Area A, Gate 12 A, Wright-Patterson Air Force Base, Ohio 45433, Phone: (937) 879-2696. Contractors are required to RSVP for the Site Visit no later than 10:00 a.m. on 23 Aug 2017. In accordance with FAR 52.237-1, Site Visit (Apr 1984), attendance is not required, but it is recommended for clarification of the requirements. RSVP should include name of the attending individual and company name. Each company is allowed to send no more than two attending individuals on their behalf. Synopsitation Number : FA8601-17-T-0224 This acquisition is a 100% small business set-aside under North American Industry Classification (NAICS) Code: 334310: Audio and Video Equipment Manufacturing. Note that e-mail filters at Wright-Patterson Air Force Base are designed to filter e-mails without subject lines or with suspicious subject lines or contents (i.e.,.exe or.zip files). Therefore, if the specified subject line is not included, the e-mail may not get through the e-mail filters. Also be advised that.zip or.exe files are not allowable attachments and may be deleted by the email filters at Wright-Patterson. If sending attachments with email, ensure only.pdf,.doc,.docx,.xls or.xlsx documents are sent. The email filter may delete any other form of attachments.
