Description

Water Softener Controls SECTION 1 STATEMENT OF WORK/BID SCHEDULE 1. Modify DeltaV I/O database per the I/O count provided in the documentation. 2. Create DeltaV control module templates that will provide the functionality as defined by the provided request for quotation documentation. 3. Create DeltaV control module instances that will be created from the above templates. 4. Create DeltaV equipment module/sequence templates that will provide the functionality as defined by the provided request for quotation documentation. 5. Create the DeltaV equipment module/sequence instances that will be created from the above templates. 6. Create DeltaV dynamos required to display required information in graphical form. 7. Create DeltaV Displays based on the provided P&IDs and/or manufacturers documentation. 8. Historize applicable process data utilizing existing spare historian capacity. 9. Develop a Software Acceptance Test Plan. 10. Complete Software Acceptance Test Plan at the REM office in Richmond utilizing basic loop tie back simulation. 11. Remove existing (2) softener control panels and (2) flow computers. 12. Provide and install new control panel containing Numatics G3 electronics and I/O with Profibus interface along with required power supplies, utilizing existing 120VAC power source. 13. Install conduit and Profibus cabling between exsiting Profibus card in BOP cabinet and new control panel. 14. Provide and install (2) flow transmitters and mount in panel door, wired to existing flow sensors. 15. Provide and install (1) new valve to automate brine draw, including connection of pneumatic tubing to new control cabinet. 16. Connect pneumatic lines to (12) existing valves to new control cabinet. 17. Develop an Acceptance Test Plan. 18. Complete Acceptance Test Plan on site as part of the startup activities. 3. Description of the Supplies or Services The Contractor shall perform the following task requirements: 1. Provide the professional services necessary to update the controls of the water softener 2. Provide a Functional Requirements Specification 3. Provide a Detailed Design Specification 4. Implement the solution 5. Execute a software acceptance test 6. Provide training and any necessary training materials 7. Execute an acceptance test 8. Provide manufacturers cut sheets for any components added to the automation system.
