Synopsis: This is a SOURCES SOUGHT ANNOUNCEMENT ONLY. It is neither a solicitation announcement nor a request for proposals or quotes and shall not obligate the Government to award a contract. The purpose of this Sources Sought Announcement is for market research to gain knowledge of potential qualified sources interested and capable of performing the work. This announcement is to seek qualified Service Disabled Veteran Owned Small Business firms and/or Veteran Owned Small Business Firms interested is submitting potential candidates under the North American Classification System (NAICS) Code of 561320, Temporary Help Services for the following positions: Phlebotomists, Medical Laboratory Technicians and Medical Laboratory Technologists. Responses to this synopsis will be used by the Government to make appropriate acquisition planning decisions. Department of Veterans Affairs Boston Healthcare System (VABS), Bedford VA Medical Center (Bedford VAMC), VA Maine Healthcare System (Maine VA) and VA Connecticut Healthcare System (VACT) have a requirement for Phlebotomists, Medical Laboratory Technicians and Medical Laboratory Technologists. The amount of Full Time Equivalent Employees (FTEE) and the number of candidates to perform services has not yet been determined. All work performed under this contract would be completed at one of the above mentioned facilities. Travel and Lodging will not be authorized. The primary tour of duty will include work schedules Sunday through Saturday 05330 to 2300 for Phlebotomists and Medical Laboratory Technicians and Technologists have the potential to work day, evening, night shifts and weekends and holidays, as applicable. Contractor will be paid for actual hours worked only. Potential Sources who are interested and capable of providing the above services must demonstrate their experience and knowledge of the required services and the capability to provide such services. Potential sources should identify business name, address, DUNS number, point of contact, business size and business socio-economic category SDVOSB, VOSB, registered and active in VIP (http://www.vetbiz.gov), service capability statement, information for recent and relevant acquisitions similar in nature, GSA Contract Number (if applicable), and any additional information felt to be pertinent. The NAICS code for this procurement is 561320 and the small business size standard is $27.5.
