This attachment is in response to Questions submitted from vendors. This acquisition is a FFP Lowest Price Technically Acceptable Type Contract. Solicitation number: FA930117Q0010 *** This is a modification to extend the response date from 07 Sept 17 to 12 Sept 17 and to add an attachment regarding questions and answers*** This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for a supply purchase with incidental services prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation for this requirement; quotes are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. This is a request for quotes (RFQ). This solicitation also uses the simplified acquisition procedures contained in FAR Part 13.5. All responsible sources may submit a firm-fixed price (FFP) quote which shall be considered by the agency. The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular (FAC) 2005-95 and DFARs Change Notice (DPN) 20161222, AFFARS (AFAC) 2017-0127. The Government intends to award a contract resulting from this solicitation to the responsible offeror whose offer is the lowest priced, technically acceptable. NAICS is 337215 with a Small Business size standard of 500 employees. FSC/SVC code is 7125. AFTC/PZIOA, Edwards AFB, CA is seeking to acquire a Brand Name or Equal purchase for the following items: - MODULA LIFT VLM model MX25 Vertical Storage System. ***This is an "All or None" acquisition; incomplete quotes will not be considered.*** ***LATE SUBMISSIONS WILL NOT BE ACCEPTED*** Interested parties who believe they can meet all the requirements for the supplies described in this synopsis are invited to submit in writing a complete quote including a 30 day from date of award delivery schedule with FOB destination (Edwards AFB, CA 93524). Offerors are required to submit with their quote enough information for the Government to evaluate the minimum requirements detailed in this synopsis. Include all manufacturer certifications as well as any applicable distribution agreements. The following factors will be used to evaluate offerors: (i) Technical capability of the item offered to meet the Government requirement; (ii) Price; and best overall value to the government. Award will be made to the lowest price, technically acceptable responsible offeror. In order to submit a complete package, vendors must submit quote with CAGE Code or DUNS Number. Interested contractors can access the clauses by internet URL: http://farsite.hill.af.mil/. Online representations and certifications (FAR and DFARS clauses) must be complete in System Award Management (SAM). SAM can be accessed via URL: www.sam.gov. Description of items to be acquired BRAND NAME OR EQUAL TO: The system shall consist of the same salient characteristics to the brand MODULA LIFT VLM model MX25 Vertical Storage System.. The unit shall contain the salient characteristics compared to the MODULA LIFT VLM model MX25. Vertical Storage System must be secured to existing concrete floor (slab) to industrial standards. Contractor must connect Vertical Storage System to existing electrical power (240V) source to operate. In order for the vertical storage system to fit in the required area the dimensions must be 130" H x 139" W x 101" D. Contractor shall possess class B contractors license in order to perform all aspects of installation. The vertical storage system must include the following options to make this a complete turn-key storage system. a) Color touch screen operator console b) 29 rotating trays with dividers and partitions c) A completely enclosed motorized storage d) Integrated inventory management software for inventory control e) Easy to use computerized controller to ensure fast and simple operations f) Computer for standalone workstation g) Software on-site installation and training h) Mechanical installation and training i) Able to print inventory reports to excel files (standalone) j) Power Line inverter/conditioner required for backup generator power k) Wireless bar code reader l) Alphanumeric LED bar (internal delivery) m) Five year extended warranty, preventive maintenance and service agreement will be included.
