Market Research for Marine Corps Rapid Capability Office: Production and Delivery of Unmanned Aerial Vehicles This is a Request for Information (RFI) via a Sources Sought Synopsis. The Marine Corps Rapid Capability Office (MCRCO) is seeking information from potential responsible sources that have the interest and capability to manufacture, assemble, integrate, and then test an unmanned aerial vehicle using Government-provided build-to-print specifications. Due to resource constraints and the need for site visitation, a strong preference is for a vendor that is within the geographic area of Virginia, Maryland, or the District of Columbia. The Statement of Work may include the following: 1. Manufacture the individual components for the Unmanned Aerial System (UAS) using Government-owned and provided specifications. 2. Additive manufacture of one or more components. 3. Procure commercial components for integration into the UAS. 4. Assemble the manufactured components and integrate the commercial components into a final product. 5. Support first article testing of the first production unit at a location in Virginia. 6. Package and deliver complete systems to CONUS and OCONUS locations. 7. Total quantity is less than 60. Interested parties are invited to provide the following information: 1. Company Information a. Name, Address and Point of Contact information b. DUNS and CAGE Code c. Business size and type (large, small, small disadvantaged, veteran owned, minority owned, service disabled veteran owned, woman owned, 8(a), HUB Zone, or other type ) 2. Statement of capabilities a. Experience in manufacturing, assembling, and delivering products based upon customer-provided specifications b. Experience in manufacturing unmanned aerial systems c. Experience in additive manufacturing processes d. Information on previous/current experience and projects that may be comparable, similar to, or closely approximated with the scope of work e. Any other information the respondent believes to be of value to the Government in evaluating current capabilities in supporting the potential requirement. Responses to this RFI are requested no later than 1400 EDT on 12 September 2017.
