Rehabilitate Cedar Pass Campground Water System located at Badlands National Park, Interior, South Dakota The scope of work includes replacing and improving the water distribution system at the Cedar Pass Campground located at Badlands National Park. The project will also reconstruct several of the existing walkways with concrete per current allowable ADA standards, as well as construct walkway paths to provide access to 16 new water fountains/filling stations. Work will be phased as necessary to minimize service interruptions to campground users. The contractor shall provide all tools, materials, labor, supervision and other items necessary to complete the entire project as specified. This project is set-aside 100% for Service Disabled Veteran Owned Small Business (SDVOSB) using NAICS Code 237110 with a size standard of $36.5 million, PSC Z2NE. The magnitude of this project, is between $250,000 and $500,000. The anticipated period of performance is 40 days and would occur after October 15, 2017. An Offer Guarantee and Performance and Payment Bonds will be required. Davis-Bacon Wage Rates for Jackson County, South Dakota shall apply. The National Park Service (NPS), Midwest Region (MWR), Nekota Major Acquisition Buying Office (MABO), intends to issue a solicitation as an Invitation for Bids (IFB) that will result in a firm-fixed price construction contract. The government intends to issue Solicitation Number P17PS02172 and its attachments, on or about September 20, 2017. Applicable site visit details will be provided with the solicitation documents. The solicitation will be posted to the Federal Business Opportunities (FBO) website at https://www.fbo.gov. The solicitation package, including applicable drawings, plans, etc., will be posted to FedConnect at https://www.fedconnect.net. No hardcopies or email copies will be provided. Bidders must have a DUNS number, be registered and active in the System for Award Management (SAM) http://www.sam.gov, to include current Representations and Certifications, in order to be eligible for award.
