Description

The Social Security Administration, Region 9, is seeking a contractor to provide all supervision, labor, equipment, tools supplies, and materials to perform ongoing maintenance of the fire safety system at the Frank Hagel Federal Building, 1221 Nevin Ave., Richmond, CA 94801-3123. The Contractor shall troubleshoot and maintain all of the following systems: - Fire alarm system and associated software. - Annunciator system. - Audio and Visual alarms and associated devices. - Fire sprinkler system, including piping and valves. - Ansul Fire Suppression System (kitchen). - All Fire Extinguishers. - Fire Pump and associated equipment. - Pull stations. - Fire protection equipment associated with the building HVAC System. - Smoke detection devices. - Heat sensors. - Fire doors. - Stairwell pressurization system. - All wiring and communication devices associated with the above systems. The building has a MIRCOM FlexNet fire alarm system with MIRCOM OpenGN monitoring and control software. All Contractor technicians who work with the fire alarm system must be fully trained and certified by MIRCOM. The contract anticipated is for a base period of one year with four one-year option periods. The acquisition will be conducted in accordance with FAR Part 12 and Subpart 13.5. This is a 100% small business set aside. The applicable NAICS is North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code 561621 and small business size standard $20.5 million. Information on a site visit will be provided in the solicitation. The solicitation is expected to be uploaded to www.fbo.gov on or about September 5, 2017.
