Synopsis The United States Air Force through the Air Force Sustainment Center (AFSC) at the Oklahoma City Logistics Center (OC-ALC) is contemplating procuring an annula bearing ball for the TF33 Air Craft Engine. The requirement cited below is for a non-commercial, Firm Fixed Price (FFP). This requirement is anticipated to be non-competitive. The bearing ball holds 2 bearing housing into position to support #3 bearing. The cable can be coiled for shipping. Item Material: AMS 6444, 52100 Steel. L/I 0001 - Qty. 44 ea. Bearing, Ball, Annula, NSN 3110-00-246-9784RV L/I 0002 - Qty. 1 lt. Data Required Delivery - Deliver 10 units on 30 July 2018, early delivery is acceptable. Set-aside: None Export Control: No Qualification Requirements: Sources must be qualified prior to being considered for award. To be eligible for contract award, the offeror must be an approved source IAW FAR 52.209-1, Qualification Requirements. The Government is not required to delay contract award to review pending Source Approval Requests (SARs). Therefore, offerors are encouraged to submit SARs as soon as possible. If the Government has not completed review of a SAR when the contract is awarded, the SAR will be retained and the source will be reviewed as a possible source for future awards. The government intends to make a sole source award. All responsible sources may submit a capability statement, proposal, or quotation, which shall be considered by the agency. The Intended source is SKF USA, INC. Mandatory Language: Based upon market research, the Government is not using the policies contained in Part 12, Acquisition of Commercial Items, in its solicitation for the described supplies or services. However, interested parties may identify to the contracting officer their interest and capability to satisfy the Governments requirement with a commercial item within 15 days of this notice. NOTE: An Ombudsman has been appointed to hear concerns from Offerors or potential Offerors during the proposal development phase of this acquisition. The purpose of the Ombudsman is not to diminish the authority of the program director or contracting officer, but to communicate contractor concerns, issues, disagreements, and recommendations to the appropriate government personnel. When requested, the Ombudsman will maintain strict confidentiality as to source of concern. The Ombudsman does not participate in the evaluation of proposals or in the source selection process.
