Clauses Specifications Synopsis/Solicitation Catenary Inspection Truck This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Subpart 12.6, under the authority of FAR 13.500, and in accordance with the procedures in FAR 13.106-1, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; electronic quotes are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. The solicitation being issued as a Request for Quotation (RFQ) under RFQ No. DTFR5317Q00012. The Federal Railroad Administration (FRA) has a requirement for a truck for conducting catenary inspections at the Railroad Test Track at the Transportation Technology Center (TTC) in Pueblo Colorado. The specifications are included as an attachment to this synopsis/solicitation. This acquisition will be conducted on a full-and-open basis. Interested vendors must submit a firm-fixed-price quotation, in accordance with the below specifications, by September 5, 2017 at 4:00 pm local D.C. time. Firm-fixed-price quotations must include all costs, including shipping and freight charges. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code for this procurement is 423830. Evaluation The Government will award a purchase order resulting from this solicitation to the responsible vendor whose quotation meets the specifications and is lowest priced. The specifications are included as an attachment to the synopsis/solicitation. Questions Questions regarding this combined synopsis/solicitation must be submitted via e-mail to ryan.daniels@dot.gov by August 31, 2017 at 2:00 local D.C. time. Submittal Instructions All responsible sources may submit a response which, if timely received, will be considered by the Government. Interested vendors are responsible for the timely submission of their quote. Please include the vendor name, point of contact, address, and telephone number. Interested vendors must be registered in the System for Acquisition Management (sam.gov) in order to be eligible for award. Telephone requests or inquiries will not be accepted. Quotations must be e-mailed directly to the Contracting Officer, Ryan Daniels, at ryan.daniels@dot.gov. Applicable Provisions and Clauses Provisions and clauses applicable to the Request for Quotation are included as an attachment to the Request for Quotation.
