Description

The Army Contracting Command Rock Island (ACC-RI) is seeking companies that are interested in becoming approved sources of supply for various fiberboard liners, in accordance with the drawings provided with this announcement. Respondents to this announcement should provide the following information: 1. Company Name, CAGE Code, DUNS number 2. Point of contact, to include Name/Title/phone number/email address 3. Capability statement, to include prior government contracts (if any) The drawings associated with this announcement are Distribution D. All firms must be registered in the Joint Certification Program (JCP) in order to access them. The address for registration is https://public.logisticsinformationservice.dla.mil/PublicHome/jcp/default.aspx Firms are required to have a current valid cage code in order to register. The drawings are available electronically for download only to those authorized to do so through JCP. Note: Further dissemination of the drawings must be in accordance with provisions of DoD Directive 5230.25. This also applies to distribution of the drawings to all Subcontractors at every level. Upon completion of the purposes for which the drawings have been provided, the Contractor is required to destroy all documents, including all reproductions, duplications, or copies thereof. Destruction of the drawings shall be accomplished by: shredding, pulping, burning or melting any physical copies and/or deletion or removal of downloaded files from computer drives and electronic devices, and any copies of those files. **This notice is for planning purposes only and does not constitute an Invitation for Bids, Request for Proposals, a Solicitation, a Request for Quotes, or an indication the Government will contract for the items contained in this announcement. This request is not to be construed as a commitment on the part of the Government to award a contract, nor does the Government intend to pay for any information submitted as a result of this request. The Government will not reimburse respondents for any cost associated with submission of the information being requested or reimburse expenses incurred to interested parties for responses to this announcement. However, information obtained as a result of this announcement may be reflected in the subsequent solicitation. This announcement is Government market research, and may result in revisions to both its requirements and its acquisition strategy based on industry responses.
