. The Department of Veterans Affairs, NCO-21 intends to issue a sole source procurement action for Reference Laboratory Testing with; Laboratory Corporation of America 231 Maple Ave Burlington, NV 27215 The procurement is planned for a 1-year period beginning 10/1/2017. NAICS Code 621511 applies. This requirement will be satisfied by Only One Responsible Source and No Other Supplies or Services Will Satisfy Agency Requirements per FAR 6.302-1; This is a notice of intent to award a limited sources procurement action and is not a request for competitive quotes or proposals. The contractor shall furnish Reference Laboratory Testing under this Task Order. Laboratory testing also requires the company to have the communication interface present in order to transfer testing information into the medical record system. Should this requirement be competed, competition would be limited to Western States Network Consortium (WSNC) BPA holders. Firms who want to challenge the sole source must hold a current WSNC BPA and must submit an interest letter that demonstrates your firms ability to provide an equivalent service as described above. Interested parties must provide rationale as to why they should be considered. All interested firms must respond to this synopsis by 7 Sep 2017, 4:00 PM Pacific Standard Local Time to David Decker, Network Contract Office, VISN 21, by E-mail to david.decker5@va.gov. Responses received will be considered; however, a determination by the Government not to compete the proposed procurement based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will normally be considered solely for determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. The Network Contracting Office will not reimburse any costs connected with providing the capability information.
