. The Department of Veterans Affairs, NCO-21 intends to issue a sole source procurement action for Surgical Laser rental services and technicians with; Universal Hospital Services Inc 6625 W 78th St #300 Minneapolis MN 55439 The procurement is planned for a 5-year period beginning October 1, 2017. NAICS Code 561990 applies. This requirement will be satisfied by Only One Responsible Source and No Other Supplies or Services Will Satisfy Agency Requirements per FAR 6.302-1; This is a notice of intent to award a limited sources procurement action and is not a request for competitive quotes or proposals. The contractor shall furnish Reference Laboratory Testing under this contract. This contract requires the company to have the all required laser systems and certified technicians on an as-needed / per procedure basis. Firms who want to challenge the sole source must submit an interest letter that demonstrates your firms ability to provide an equivalent service as described above. Interested parties must provide rationale as to why they should be considered. All interested firms must respond to this synopsis by 7 Sep 2017, 4:00 PM Pacific Standard Local Time to David Decker, Network Contract Office, VISN 21, by E-mail to david.decker5@va.gov. Responses received will be considered; however, a determination by the Government not to compete the proposed procurement based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will normally be considered solely for determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. The Network Contracting Office will not reimburse any costs connected with providing the capability information.
