Description

The U.S Army Contracting Command- New Jersey (ACC-NJ), located at Picatinny Arsenal, New Jersey 07806-5000, on behalf of the Vehicle and Robotics Alliance Program Office, intends to enter into a section 815 Other Transaction (OT) Agreement with the National Advanced Mobility Consortium for a period of five (5) years. Award will be made to the National Advanced Mobility Consortium (NAMC). The NAMC encompasses the expertise, knowledge, technologies, and innovation to meet the program objectives and goals of the coordinated research and development program designed to support the Department of Defenses prototype manned and unmanned ground vehicle technology requirements. The consortium is comprised of a well-balanced and uniquely qualified mixture of traditional and nontraditional defense contractors, small and large businesses, for-profit and not-for-profit entities, and academic organizations. The NAMC is an open consortium with a low barrier for membership. Any interested company or academic institution can become a member and join the consortium, which widens the knowledge and technical base of expertise.
