Sources Sought Syopsis with Contractor Capability Survey SOURCES SOUGHT SYNOPSIS Repair of Fire Truck Components PURPOSE/DESCRIPTION The Government is conducting market research to identify potential sources that may possess the production data/repair data, expertise, capabilities, and experience to meet the requirements for qualification, repair, and production of the following Fire Truck Components: NSN Noun 2520-01-282-6711 Transmission 2520-01-181-1335 Hydraulic Transmission 2520-01-164-9056 Transmission Power Takeoff 2520-01-297-6614 Mechanical Transmission 2520-01-318-5013 Mechanical Transmission 2520-01-163-1671 Box, Accessories Storage 4320-01-332-5308 Rotary Pump Purchase Instrument: FD2060-17-00578. Our acquisition strategy is a five-year contract (Basic plus four option years). The current projected quantities for the life of the contract are: NSN Noun Quantity 2520-01-282-6711 Transmission 3 2520-01-181-1335 Hydraulic Transmission 3 2520-01-164-9056 Transmission Power Takeoff 3 2520-01-297-6614 Mechanical Transmission 6 2520-01-318-5013 Mechanical Transmission 3 2520-01-163-1671 Box, Accessories Storage 3 4320-01-332-5308 Rotary Pump 3 According to multiple technical orders, the items listed in this Purchase Instrument are a part of MT654CR and HT 750DRD Transmission Assemblies that are produced by the Allison Transmission Company (Cage 73342). The transmission assemblies are currently used on the A/S32P-19 and A/S 32P-22 fire trucks which are managed by the Air Force.
